So ridiculous,

and all that comes out is gibberish. ]

words slur,
mind becomes a blur,
the words,
you cant remember,
feeling like a failure.

because you thought you failed this trial,
but in a matter of minutes you walk off with seven digits,
with your head in the sky,
and a great big smile.

I expected too much,
though nothing at all.
i was satisfied.
happy,
even excited.
but now im just appauled.
I'm not angry at you,
that wouldnt be right.
but i can't help my frustration,
my anger,
feelin ready to fight.

What seemed to be great,
was all just an illusion.
And,
i'm sorry for the confusion.

because in reality your still the same,
same girl,
same name,
same pretty face.
but what once was a crush, has surely been erased.

to you it may seem like nothing, like "what the hell",
one simple little thing,
But it was big enough an issue to impact the fondness and feeling.

what might possibly have grown close and strong,
has now been demolished and for me possibly forever gone.

Knocks you off your feet,
Gets under you skin,
Feels so unreal,

Love is misused a lot these days,
So lemme give you my spin on the phrase.

Body:
Love is not something when you’re just trying to get into her pants,
Or when your relationship falters and you say it just to keep her entranced.
Love is not just a word, feeling, or emotion,
You can’t induce it with silly love potions.

It is to hold close and protect,
Never let go, never disrespect.
Love is forever,
Eternal,
Everlasting.
Not when you just say it to do so,
Not just a quick fling.
And without the true meaning behind em,
